A note from Seed Of Hope co-founder Heather Liebenberg I was reminded of how quickly time passes when Caleb celebrated his fourth birthday this year! He is now attending pre-school each morning and just began swimming lessons. Just over two years ago I was asked to pastor Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Pinetown, where I now serve part-time.
Although there have been many changes in our lives, I am still passionate about my involvement with Seed of Hope. God is transforming the lives of children, teens and adults as we work together and pray much for His Kingdom to advance. I am amazed at how God has been bringing the right people together at Seed of Hope. There is a renewed sense of family and mission.
As we said our latest farewells to recent volunteers from Canada and the UK, I realized that in some ways we are like a subversive missions agency: impacting visitors with a glimpse of God’s heart, joining with Him as His hands and sending
changed people back all over the world as “seeds of hope,” like a dandelion releasing its seeds to the wind.
As each one returns home our extended Seed of Hope family grows bigger, and I say with the Apostle Paul in Romans 1:8, “I thank God through Jesus for every one of you.”
